CINTA
Locally sourced walnut and lime wood
W45cm x H37 x L125
The Cinta Senese is a breed of pig particular to the surrounding areas of Siena of which there are visual records dating back to the 16th century. It was almost made extinct during the last world war. I was very interested in its black and white colouring and how extremely closely related pigs still are to the wild boar that are prolific in my local environment.
